November is Military Family Appreciation Month, a time to recognize the sacrifices made by military families and honor their success. The month was established in 1993 by the Armed Services YMCA. Every year, the President signs a proclamation declaring November Military Family Month.
Throughout Military Family Month, we thank military families for their contributions made in support of our service members and the strength and courage they possess. Military families provide military service members with encouragement and love while managing home life when their loved ones are deployed. As the holiday season approaches, we pay special tribute to our deployed service members and their families, who are separated this holiday season. During this year’s Military Family Appreciation Month, you can support military families by donating a vehicle to the Military Family Advisory Network.
