This was my dream car when I bought it, and it has served me very well and been a joy to drive and own for many years now. My son learned to drive manual transmission on this car, and he is so proud of that skill. But now... I cannot keep up with the (significant) upkeep required, i have replaced it with a much more reliable, but surprisingly similar car (another German station wagon and my current version of the dream car). it is time for the next chapter in this cars story-- where it gets turned into a donation to Wisconsin Public Radio!
