1999 Toyota Camry donated to Car Talk

Elaine the 1999 Toyota Camry

This is Elaine. She is 21 years old and has been my companion in upstate NY for the past 11. She has traveled from the top of Maine, to the Florida keys dozens of times and is a five time Bonnaroo attendee. During my time with her I’ve brought her to the shop a total of 6 times. She’s never failed to start and has always kept going. I wish very much that I could keep her still, but her time is near. I have never owned, nor could have asked for a better vehicle. She has been, and will always be my friend. I only hope that she can do one last bit of good before she goes.

Does your vehicle have a special story? Don’t forget to share it with us! We love to feature our donor stories and selfies on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
