My son has participated in Special Olympics on and off since the age of 2, both in Delaware and Texas. We have had this van since the age of 2. We have made minor monetary donations, but thought this was something else we could do to help pay things forward. The van has served this family well for 12 years and I hope it can continue to be of use to others.

This was my Dad’s car. He gave it to me when he could no longer drive. I always felt like I was holding his hand when I drove his car. He was a very good driver with a bit of wanderlust. When he was 89, he drove from Wisconsin to Maryland by himself to take care of my dogs while I went on vacation. When he was 91, he drove from Wisconsin to South Dakota because he hadn’t yet seen the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore.
