Dear Special Olympics Team,

Our recent donation of our 2008 Honda Odyssey is bittersweet. We endearingly named her "Big Betty," and she has been a constant for our family. She helped us raise our four kids, provided countless trips to sports practices and the grocery store, aided in moving our kids in and out of college and to their new locations afterward, and was the work horse for most of our annual beach trips. She was truly special to us and will be dearly missed.

At the same time, we are so happy Big Betty is going to such a deserving organization. We chose to donate to the Special Olympics because one of our daughters is a special education teacher and a college disability services coordinator. Our hope is that Betty provides meaningful financial support to your organization and your athletes.
