Kristin’s 2006 Volvo S60
Donated to San Francisco SPCA
San Francisco SPCA Car Donation Review

“I am very glad I was able to donate my car to the SPCA!”
I am very glad I was able to donate my car to the SPCA! It is a 2006 blue Volvo, which I got in 2012. It has been a great car, and has shared many Northern CA adventures with me. It has almost 135k miles, but looks relatively good for a grand dame (though there is a little metaphorical wrinkling and sagging) 😉 I very much respect the work of the SPCA, and was recently dropping off pumpkins from our office Halloween/Thanksgiving decorations at the Burlingame SPCA (for critters to munch). I took time to check out the facility – three amazing floors of different species being comfortably and respectfully housed. And I hope my sweet old car will be able to support that effort in some way! I hope it finds a wonderful new owner who cares for it as much as I do/did 🙂
Thank You, Kristin!
Founded in 1868, SF SPCA is the fourth oldest humane society in the U.S. and has always been on the forefront in animal welfare, including founding the No-Kill movement. As a result of their efforts and with the help of their community partners, San Francisco has the lowest euthanasia rate of any major city in the country.
