“This photo of the Honda Odyssey with our youngest daughter popping out of the sun roof with my wife and our dog captures the experience.”
Our 2007 Honda Odyssey has a long, family history. It was our main transportation vehicle when our 3 daughters were young and as they got older it became the sports van hauling. I coached the girls in basketball and soccer and our van hauled bags of balls for most of the year. As our daughters got older the Honda Odyssey became the car they were they all learned to drive and they took turns making it “their car” during the many trips to Lincoln Sudbury High School. A fun memory I would like to share is captured in the attached photograph. Our youngest daughter graduated from high school during the height of the 2020 COVID pandemic. With all of the regular, high school graduation events canceled because of the pandemic, the high school organized a car parade to help the class celebrate. This photo of the Honda Odyssey with our youngest daughter popping out of the sun roof with my wife and our dog captures the experience.
Thank You, Paul!

This was my first ever car that I got while in college. I planned to buy a cheap, used car with my savings but my mom surprised me by chipping in a bunch to help me get a new car. I named her Eustace and she carried me the 6+ hours to and from college for every vacation. She witnessed first love, graduation, and moved to the big city with me. She was tough, facing blazing summers, snow plows burying her for days, and alternate side parking. She drove my fiancee and I to our first house and then our wedding. She came and went to the NICU dozens of times until our beautiful baby was ready to come home months later. I was so nervous driving with our baby in the back seat for the first time, but Eustace was as steady and reliable as ever. She’s retired from our family now, but can hopefully still do some good for others.
