How to Donate Your Car to
Feeding America
Step 1: Provide Vehicle Information
Complete the donation form online or by calling us at 877-957-2277. We’ll ask some questions about your vehicle, including the VIN, year, make, model, mileage, and condition.
Step 2: Schedule Free Car Pick Up
Tell us a bit about yourself and where your car will be picked up. You’ll be contacted by a local towing agent within 2-3 business days to schedule a pick up time that works best for you.
Step 3: Get Tax Receipt
Once you submit your Feeding America car donation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your Donor Console. Within the Donor Console, you’ll be able to track the progress of your car donation, upload documents, and get tax and title information. After your car is sold, you will be emailed a tax receipt.

How do I sign my title?

How much money will Feeding America receive from my car donation?
Our authorized agent, Advanced Remarketing Services, returns on average more than 80% of the gross proceeds from the sale of your vehicle to Feeding America.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes! Within 30 days of the sale of your car, you’ll be emailed a tax receipt. If your car sells for over $500, you may deduct the full selling price of the car when itemizing taxes. If your car sells for less than $500, you can deduct $499 or your car’s fair market value, whichever is less. Please consult with your tax advisor on the best way to claim your car donation tax deduction.
