This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL was donated to Minnesota Public Radio through the Car Talk Vehicle Donation Program. MPR is the public radio station for the state of Minnesota. When you donate to MPR, the proceeds from the sale of your vehicle will support news and music programming for its network of stations.

The donors shared their story with us, highlighting just how much the Benz means to them.

This car has been in our family for more than 27 years. Both our kids grew up with it since the days they were born. We love this car and are very grateful for the services it has provided us. It means so much to us when the time comes to part with it we could not just sell it to a stranger nor a dealership.

After some discussions, we all agreed that we should donate it to MPR, a great course! My wife and I listened to your programs regularly and we also very much appreciate that we still have a source of news that provides facts without censorship and bias. We hope our donation will help you with your great work. Keep up the great job!

Feeling motivated to donate your car? Share your vehicle story with us! We love to feature our donor stories and selfies on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
