Check out this 1973 Ford Mustang that was donated to Habitat for Humanity, where it will help build a home for a family in the HFH Fort Worth Area.
This classic car also comes with an awesome donor story about a father and son who decided to rebuild it!
The story behind the car is that my son piped up at 16 years old and said he would like to learn about cars and would like to rebuild one with me. I thought about it and decided to pursue it and when announcing my decision to a group of friends and coworkers, a coworker piped up and said he had a Mustang that he and his son had partially restored. . . I bought it sight unseen and so the journey began. When we got home after unloading it from the trailer, we started inventorying parts and found that there were parts from several Mustangs of different years in the boxes and trunk. When I mentioned it to the coworker the following Monday, he chuckled and said that this was their third Mustang and this was the parts leftover from all 3.

The following year, the donor’s son graduated high school and attended an engingeering summer camp before studying engineering at Texas A&M. The car went into storage in 2005 then was parked in the donor’s garage a couple of years later.
