Following the celebrations of Mother’s Day, it seems appropriate to shine light on NPH USA, an organization that protects and transforms the lives of vulnerable children.
NPH USA (formerly Friends of the Orphans) is the American volunteer program of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”. NPH was founded in 1954 and works in countries throughout Latin American and the Caribbean to provide children with homes, food, health services, and education. The organization currently supports more than 6,200 children in Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos’ community outreach programs provide over 100,000 services every year.
