This week’s charity spotlight is on an international organization that protects vulnerable children. NPH USA is the American fundraising and volunteering program of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos. Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos works in Latin American and the Caribbean to provide stability and comfort to vulnerable children. In 2017, they housed nearly 3,200 children in 9 countries: Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru.
The children helped through NPH’s efforts are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Many of them have no permanent family, never attended school, and had no access to nutritious food or health care. Children of all ages can find a permanent home with NPH.
NPH operates through a network of homes and programs, helping provide community and familial support for each child. They offer more than just housing, but an array of services, including scholarships, meals, and healthcare. In 2017, their community outreach programs provided over 140,000 services.
