How do I release the liability of my donated vehicle in Idaho (ID)?
- The state of Idaho DOES require a Certificate of Title in order to transfer ownership of your vehicle.
- In order to complete your Idaho car donation, transfer your title by entering the name of our authorized agent, ADVANCED REMARKETING SERVICES in the buyer/purchaser field. Please PRINT and SIGN your name in the seller/owner field EXACTLY as it appears at the top of the title.
- License plates remain with the donor.
- You are required to complete and submit a Notice of Release of Liability within 5 days of vehicle pick up. Please follow the link to complete the Notice online: https://dmvonline.itd.idaho.gov/
- Remember to remove your electronic toll collection system from your vehicle as well as removing the vehicle from the account when the vehicle is picked up.
