It has been a great joy of Car Donation Wizard to be partnered with Feed the Children. Founded in 1979, Feed The Children has been an international hunger and relief organization that delivers food, medicine and other necessities to children and their families who lack these essentials due to poverty, war, famine and natural and man-made disaster. Feed The Children is consistently ranked as one of the 10 largest international charities in the U.S., based on private, non-government support. In FY 2009, Feed The Children distributed more than 111 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and their families in all 50 states and internationally.
Around the world, Feed The Children responds to disasters wherever they strike, providing emergency supplies to children and their families. Feed The Children has sent thousands of tents to aid the survivors of the May 2008 earthquake that decimated parts of China, leaving millions homeless. They were also able to deliver an unprecedented 13.8 million pounds of rice, a gift of the government of Taiwan, for starving children in African nations recently affected by famine, drought, and violent conflict. Feed the Children is always poised to respond in emergency situations, but we need your help now to be able to act immediately when disaster strikes.
